Updates on unlocked Z Fold 7

I just got an unlocked Z Fold 7 and it's activated on tmobile network. It's showing my device is up to date with the July security Patch and March Google play update. Any suggestions on getting an OTA update pushed? Thanks

you can use Odin and download the up-to-date firmware and just do an update and use the home CSC option so it doesn't wipe anything off your phone rather than just the CSC option, and for the Google Play update go to apkmirror.com search for main components or Google main components which is what that is and you can download the newest version for your device through there otherwise than that hook it up to a computer also just like above but you can use Smart switch I think and you might have an option to do a update through there, besides that just keep hitting the update or maybe even factory reset and see if that but that sucks to do that

You should be on October security patch, and Play System September.

If you have access to a PC or Mac using Smart Switch might force the update.

Trying rebooting your phone and looking again.

Using smart switch on MacBook isn't prompting an update. Might have to and use the Odin way which i have no idea how to do 😂

This is probably the problem.

We have established you are on T-MOBILE. Now I need 2 things from you, when you go to settings, about phone does it say in the model code "U" or " U1". The U means carrier device, U1 means bought from Samsung.

Then I need a screenshot also from the about phone, in the software section, scroll down to Service provider software version, take a screenshot and upload. I will then be able to diagnose your problem

Your problem is the service provider software is from Verizon, you are on Tmobile. You will need to either try and borrow a Verizon SIM, return it, or go to a Samsung authorized service center and have the software flashed to turn it into a unlock device Depending on where you live, this can be between $75 and $150
