I really really hate using online shopping and delivery services, but this time, I had no other option. I sent my phone from NY to Texas to be repaired. Everything was fine, they sent me a quote, which was higher than I expected, but whatever. The phone was repaired. Now UPS is the issue. My package is nowhere to be found.

According to UPS, my phone arrived to the city I live in, but for some reason, my package left  my city TO ANOTHER STATE. I complained to Samsung and to UPS, but no solutions. I am sure it got stolen. Don't use Samsung because they partner with UPS, and because they use a third party service, there is no way for Samsung reps to internally track UPS packages. Absolutely horrible.

UPDATE: UPS says my package was lost. I am sure an UPS employee stole it. My phone was already in the city where I live, but it was moved out of state. Absolutely horrible experience.

Think many companies would be simular they have contracts with ups or fed ex to use the shipper i.e ups here is responsible

But they chose to have UPS as a partner. I didn't tell them to work with UPS. It has been a horrible experience, especially because the package was actually in my city, but then left to another state, for some reason.  I am reporting it as stolen as soon as they allow me to do so.

The thing is, I thought the most difficult part was going to be the repair itself, not the shipping.

Is your package still showing in the UPS system?

It shows in the UPS system, but without delivery date or where it actually is located

That's normal when I order something it will arrive at a sorting point 50 miles away from me and then gets shipped 400 miles away to another sort center just to turn around and head back.

At least yours was 50 miles away. Mine was literally in the same city I live in, then left, for some reason. I am never using Mail-in repair services ever again because of their choice in shipping partners

Ever since my phone came back to the city I live in, it has yet to move from my local facility. They aren't even putting a delivery date anymore. It just says "The delivery date will be provided as soon as possible." Remember, it was a 2nd delivery air. It moved from Dallas, Texas to Westchester County, NY incredibly quickly. All the issues started when it arrived to the city I live in.

@Future97 I know this is frustrating. The best you can do is have Samsung follow up with UPS. The shipper has to deal with the shipping company.

Unfortunately all shipping companies have issues now and then. Recently FedEx told me on a Saturday that they lost a shipment to me. I had to wait to Monday to call to customer support. On Monday they said the package was out for delivery. And I did get the package on Monday.

Samsung used to only use FedEx. Users complained about shipment issues so recently Samsung changed to UPS.
