UI7 needs ability to put app pages in alphabetical order

Can you let your development team know that, while it is possible to return to the paginated layout in the apps pages, instead of the annoying scrolling through 100+ apps,  doing so mean it is no longer possible to arrange the apps in alphbetical order. This is something very basic and needs fixed.

For example, here is the scrollable list of all apps. The problem with scrolling through a long list of apps is its difficulty in finding an app (and search is fine, but difficult if you're doing it one-handed).

 

If you click the three dots you get a menu that says SORT, CLEANUP PAGES, SETTINGS.

If you select SORT, you can choose CUSTOM ORDER or ALPHABETICAL ORDER. However, if you select ALPHABETICAL ORDER, it automatically reverts you to the new scrollable list of all apps. If you select CUSTOM ORDER it gives you the 6x5 row of apps on multiple pages, but they are no longer in alphabetical order and there doesn't seem to be a means to put them in order except by dragging one app at a time and doing it manually. 

Surely, this feature can be added with little trouble or time to market.

Yes!!! they just forced the update on my phone and I can't stand the long list. I saw the Custom orders but can't stand it is not in alphabetical order within custom pages!!!

Yeah this is stupid that I can't have alphabetical pages now. It makes no sense why they would design it that way and take away that sort

Sometimes I scroll vertically and get through 7 rows, sometimes 10, sometimes 5, then inevitably have to adjust slightly backward or forward while looking at the screen. I have to very mindfully watch the screen.

Search requires a lot more keypad touches and requires me to actually look at my screen.

Change back to pages again, and they are all out of order and is painfully tedious to move one by one to get in alphabetical order....especially when you don't have your total app list in available in an alphabetical sort. This is literally the same exact thing as my home screen & pages, but with a TONS of apps! I can't believe I'm doing this as a HUMAN in the year *2025* on my smart device.

PLEASE TELL ME THIS WAS A BACKLOGGED STORY THAT WILL BE DEPLOYED IN THE VERY NEXT UPDATE!!
