I will be changing my z fold 7 for a device that is NOT samsung. Have had to get my NEW device repaired 2 times in the past 2 weeks by samsung themselves and now need another repair. All of these repairs were all manufacturer defects and all samsung is doing is telling me to keep getting this same device repaired or use my insurance and pay the deductible.

Fold & Flip PhonesWhile your situation sounds frustrating, I hope you can understand it is difficult to believe that 3 repairs were needed within 3 weeks and there was no user error involved. Samsung typically does not require a deductible to repair in-warranty devices with issues deemed manufacturer defects. Care+/insurance claims would likely require a deductible if the damage were deemed accidental.
Given that folding screens are more durable than ever before, your situation is very, very atypical. Perhaps you should consider a traditional slab phone if the Fold does not meet your desired standard of durability.
I hope you find a device that meets your needs.

Fold & Flip PhonesMe too! Not happy at all. One night opened the fold and inside screen was black. I had to send it in to be repaired and they were going to charge me $600.00+ to fix. Only had phone for 3 months and said it was out of warranty and that I caused the problem!!! How would I have caused this?? They sent it back to me unrepaired and now I am having to get a replacement phone through Samsung care plus for $99.00!!!! Any suggestions on how to handle this? I am just done with Samsung! Next phone i buy will not be through Samsung, it will be with T-Mobile or another carrier.
