Separate app sound feature not working

Alright, I've been trying to find a fix for this for a hot minute now. Had an s23+ and the feature used to work fine; would be able to play music off my bt speaker and scroll other apps and have those sounds play off my phone. Then it stopped. Tried to find a fix but not a thing to be found...got the z fold 7 a month ago and the feature would not work...anyone have a solution?

Hey vladdyp! Thanks for visiting our community! Does this occur with certain apps? Is it possible you might just have to reset which apps have certain sounds after the update?

Negative, I figured it out. I basically have to select phone as media output every time I enable separate sound and want to use it.
