I'm also in the USA market, however, I no longer utilize Samsung Messages. So mine is disabled and has not been updated.

Samsung Galaxy Fold devices utilize the Samsung Messages app, which offers Conversation Categories to organize messages. These categories allow users to sort messages into groups for easier management and quick access, especially useful for users in multiple organizations or with many group chats.

How to use Conversation Categories in Samsung Messages:

1. Enable Conversation Categories:

Open the Samsung Messages app, tap the three dots (More options), then go to Settings > Conversation categories, and toggle it on.

2. Create a Category:

Tap on "Conversation categories" and then "Add category", enter a name, and tap "Add".

3. Add Conversations:

Search for and select the conversations you want to include in the category, then tap "Done".

4. View Categories:

Return to the main Messages screen, and you'll see your new category listed. You can tap on it to view the conversations within.

5. Remove Categories:

To remove a category, tap the three dots, select "Edit categories", and then choose the category to delete.

Benefits of using Conversation Categories:

Organization:

Easily find messages from specific contacts or groups by sorting them into categories.

Quick Access:

Quickly locate messages related to work, personal projects, or specific groups.

Reduced Clutter:

Avoids having to scroll through all messages to find specific conversations.

Customization:

Create categories that fit your specific needs and communication patterns.

Important Notes:

Ensure you are using the Samsung Messages app, not Google Messages, as Google Messages does not support conversation categories.

Some users have reported that after updates, messages in categories may also appear in the "All" category, which can be a minor inconvenience.

You can also customize the background and other aspects of individual chat conversations
