Fold & Flip Phones
I debated getting the Fold 7 because the inner screen UDC camera was taken away and replaced with a jarring, obtrusive, and annoying punch hole camera. That obviously is a downgrade to me. The best thing Samsung can do is make the Fold 8, 9, 10, and beyond models' two punch hole cameras be UDC cameras and just continue improving the technology until it is almost as good or better than the performance of a punch hole camera. Or they can offer two Fold models every year, one with UDC and one without, let the people's choice tell where their preference lies. If Samsung is unwilling to ever go back to UDC cameras, then at least consider repositioning the inner screen punch hole camera placed in the Fold 7 to a better spot so it doesn't degrade the widescreen video viewing experience with an unsightly black hole in videos. Yes move the punch hole camera to the right by an inch or all the way to the upper right hand corner like other manufacturers do with their Fold models. What engineers decided to put it where it is now makes me wonder what they were thinking. Obviously they didn't think much about it, that's why I shake my head every time I see that punch hole camera on the inner screen of the Fold 7. That is my number complaint I have with Fold 7.
Everthing else about it is top notch and congratulations on finally giving a Fold closer to what users want. Please consider continuing to make the cover screen even wider to 70-75mm even, that only makes it better. The second thing I wish future Folds would have is 100X zoom like the S-ultra models but with better clarity and super effective auto image stabilizing.
In summary, please bring back the UDC magic and consider double UDC cameras for future Fold models on both cover and inner displays. I think executing that will absolutely set Samsung's Folds so far above the competition it will make them cry and wish they had UDC too. Samsung was well on their way to doing that but unexpectedly took a wrong turn with bringing back the punch-hole camera on the inner screen instead of continuing to improve the UDC experience. Samsung's UDC was magic, they took it away. Their micr-sd card slot was magic, that was taken away. Their S pen was pretty nice, gone too. In order for Samsung to have the best Fold out there, it needs to add magic without taking away any magic it already had. Doing that only diminishes the accomplishments you already achieved. The truly Ultra Fold would add innovation on top of innovation, and never take away what already was top notch. I look forward to a truly Ultra Z Fold that captures all of the magic without taking away any it already had. And doing all that but still keeping it 8.9mm thin. Z Fold 10 - The Z Fold uncontested Gold standard - No compromises. Charge $2500 and it will still sale like hot cakes.

(I also sent this to Samsung's Feedback page, thanks for letting me share again!😂 I finally upgraded from a Fold 3 to Fold 7. I mainly use it to read PDF books and watch videos that's why I don't want a punch-hole camera ruining that immersive experience)

I agree, I wanted 100x too but since the punch-hole and the telephoto was two negatives vs the 3- 4 positives, I accepted the compromise and ordered it. It's always a compromise with Samsung's Folds, not a real Ultra yet but getting there eventually, in 5 years maybe we'll get the perfect Fold

Exactly what I use it for, just to zoom in and try to make out what I see, blurry and unstable, yes, but zooming power is great.

UDC is the future, so to stop using it is a step back not a step forward. That's why other companies have and are getting into the game. Eventually they will bring it back because of the innovations, improvements, and competitive edge it will give other phone companies that wisely choose to use it.
