Phone recording calls and settings are turned OFF

Why is my phone telling me and my other participant that the call is being recorded and then it is on my phone recordings when I'm done with the conversation. My allow recording on my settings is turned OFF.

@Linky60 Sorry for the confusion but there is no option to turn off call recordings. The only options that you can turn off in that area are "Show notification after recording" and "Auto transcribe recorded calls".

I'm sorry, what? Are you saying that all calls made with the Samsung dialer are recorded and that can't be turned off??

No. I'm saying that the record button is always active. If you touch the button during a call, it records the call. There is no way to deactivate that button. If you don't click the button during a call, the call is not recorded.

@Linky60 The button should be on your screen when you're in a phone call it should be a setting that your face or ear may be hit by accident. Or try opening up your settings and typing in call recording and let it take you to the the main area of all the features to shut it off.

That's the thing...it is turned off in my settings. Frustrating.

The little button that looks like it has a cassette tape on it on the left Midway above that black dialog box that is the button to turn it on and off when you're in the midst of a call. I hope this helps.
