I just switched to the z flip 7 on att from an iPhone on Verizon and am unable to set up my rcs. It has been 3 days and it still says it is setting up and constantly requests to verify my number, but nothing happens when I click it.

Have you tried something simple like reboot your phone?

Yes. At first I thought it was sending me a message because I had a phantom notification on messenger that would clear if I pressed read all but couldn't see anything. Not sure how likely though. The other person gave me a list to try and have to wait to attempt second part tomorrow. Hoping it works

Verify your phone number in Google Account:

Open your device's Settings app and tap on Google.

Select "Manage your Google Account".

Tap on "Personal info" and then "Phone number".

Ensure your phone number is listed and verified.

2. Verify your phone number in Google Messages:

Open the Google Messages app.

Tap on your profile icon (or initials) in the top right corner.

Select "Messages settings" and then "RCS chats" or "Chat features".

Tap on "Verify your number" or "Retry" if it's already showing "Setting up".

Confirm your phone number.

3. Troubleshooting:

If you see "Setting up" for an extended period, it indicates Google Messages is having trouble verifying your number, according to Google Help.

Make sure you have a stable internet connection.

Try toggling RCS chats off and then back on in Google Messages settings.

If issues persist, consider adding a recovery phone number to your Google Account and waiting a few days before retrying.

You can also try signing into your Google Account on a mobile device through the Google or Gmail app and waiting a few days before retryin

This was helpful. Was able to do the first step in the settings with my google account. I have been having trouble with the second step, and will have to try tomorrow as I ran out of attempts today. I have tried toggeling on and off and am logged into both google and Gmail on my phone
