Suggestion for Samsung: Start releasing One UI betas simultaneously for all phones like Apple does. A major reason people (or at least tech nerds like me) choose either Samsung or Apple is being able to try the latest UI eye candy and features. It's not cool that I spent so much $ for a Z Fold 7 then feeling left behind. This type of behavior makes me seriously consider switching back to iPhone.
Apparently you don't understand how easy it is for apple to release something like that on "all of their devices" at the same time when literally all of their devices are literally the same device 😂 just because it has a different number slapped on the end of it doesn't make a lick of difference because all of the software and the hardware is the same.
However, no to Androids are exactly alike even one say s25 Ultra is not equal to another as 25 Ultra as carriers also have a lot to do with it... but the s25 is different than the s24 which is different than the s23 has each one of these are different phones built on different versions of Android with different sdks different coding in their firmwares so on and so forth just because it's an Android Samsung doesn't necessarily mean much in the grand scope.
This is the reason why it's very difficult for Android users to find accessories that they would like while it's not so difficult for that of Apple to do so because each phone for Android is a different device which runs differently and each one of our phones looks in a shape different why are companies going to try to lose money by making a bunch of stuff for a bunch of different phones that in a sense could be niche when it's easier to just make a bunch of accessories for one type of phone that is the same across the board?
Comparing Apple to Samsung is literally comparing apples to oranges. Not to mention that most of these updates that come from Samsung then have to also be modified to work on your phone and your carrier while Apple only has one to worry about which need to know modifications because it's software is the same and consistent.
I'm not going to even start to get into the difference of iOS and Linux and the difference that even has because that is far too past your knowledge
And being a tech nerd myself I'm sorry no that's not the reason why I went with Samsung I go with Samsung just because they're great all around and almost everything I own is Samsung but other than that I choose Android because of its ability to be customized and tinkered with in no way that Apple ever could even going back as far as rooting them with BlackRain... the capabilities of an Android far surpassed that of an apple that's why we choose these phones it's not to try eye candy and features...
And your Galaxy fold 7 is always going to be left behind because in case you didn't know you don't have a regular version of Android you have what is known as Android L which is a modified completely different version of Android that is custom to run on foldable phones and even though it's Android and even though all the option everything are the same it's functionality how it works so on and so forth is not equal to that of regular Android.
This is why foldables always get their new UI updates last it's because they have to make a separate one just for Android L and their focused on the phones that sell the most before the products that are niche that they make a quick Buck off of from "Tech nerds" that feel like they have to have the latest and greatest toy to be the human beta tester for
Considering how buggy and poorly optimized the last few iOS releases have been, especially on older devices (my poor 13 mini), I'm inclined to disagree. Samsungs slower beta test and update rollout is frustrating but the software is much better optimized on a per device basis because of it.
