Not receiving messages from friends with iPhone

So hey there again so my last problem was fixed but I'm still not receiving them from my friends with an iPhone please help

What messaging app are you using?

Google messages

Go to settings in the Google Messages app, tap on your profile picture, messages settings, RCS Chats, make sure you have toggled on, send as SMS/MMS.

If that isn't the problem
SMS/MMS will only work if DATA is turned on. If you turn off DATA it will not send the text.
