Phone automatically forced new software update. Now it won't turn on the wifi. Try to turn it on and it will endlessly scroll searching for networks. Hate being forced to update my phone. Tech support wants me to factory reset my phone.

I kind of agree. Getting right is different from making it right. For me and the others that have been affected that have not modded their phones, it just sucks? Nah, revert the phone update. This is a well known bug now since zfold2, apparently from what I've been reading. This is their flagship folding device.

Even if you *could* revert the update, that does not guarantee the wi-fi will still not be "broken".  The only way for Samsung to make it right is for you to put in an error report so they can see what's wrong and either fix it or tell you what to do to fix it.

Hello, Welcome and thank you for being part of the Community. We understand how frustrating it is when you are unable to use Wi-Fi on your phone.

Troubleshooting for Wi-Fi connection include:

1. Reset the settings. Settings>General management>Reset>Reset Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings

2. Test in Safe Mode. https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-to-start-my-galaxy-device-in-safe-mode

3. Clearing the cache partition.

To get to recovery mode:
- Turn off phone
- Once off, hold down volume up and power buttons simultaneously
- When Samsung logo appears, release power button BUT KEEP HOLDING VOLUME UP until the recovery menu appears
- Use volume buttons to navigate down to clear cache (NOT CLEAR DATA/ FACTORY RESET)
- Use power button to select.
4. A factory reset. https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00062029/

For Wi-Fi connection concerns, you can try the troubleshooting here: https://www.samsung.com/us/support/troubleshooting/TSG01001559
