Solved: Google Drive Crashing on Fold and Flip - Samsung Community

Seems to be a widespread issue based on the most recent reviews. Google and samsung keep saying to just clear cache and uninstall and reinstall, but this doesn't help.

Any advice? I've filled multiple reports but no update or response about this issue

The app just constantly crashes when you try and open anything and says - Sorry! Drive has stopped unexpectedly. Report this issue

Looking at the reviews it seems like Fold and Flip users are affected.

they pushed an update on Dec 10th that fixed the issue.

And yes while that may have been the case for documents, if you tried to open a pdf, image, or video - it would just close

@jamal01 Gave it a try. No problem opening Google Drive on my Fold 4. However I did encounter that error when I tried to open a file.

(another edit) Even though I got that error, the file still opens and I am still able to access and edit the file.
