[Galaxy Z TriFold] No Trade in Options :(

I just tried to purchase the z trifold, unfortunately I found out that there is no trade in options 🙃 

Mind you my z fold 7 has the same specs only thing difference is one extra screen and a bigger battery!

This was a bad move from Samsung, " Slap in the face to their loyal fanbase"!!

Z trifold release is limited in a number of ways because there are limited units available.

For example, both pickup and shipping are unavailable in my zip code. I couldnt buy one if I wanted to at the moment.

These are an engineering marvel, but VERY niche. Samsung is not looking to move high volume on these and that is reflected in the pricing strategy.

Not only is there no trade-ins, there is no Samsung Care+ on a $2900 phone.

This is a vanity product to say, look at what we can make on the heels of Apple finally releasing a foldable this year.

Think of the Trifold as a limited run of a concept car. Super cool high end product in a limited quantity, probably not a daily driver for most!

😮 No Samsung Care plans on them? I don't think I'd risk it. But then again, maybe they can be insured through the carrier.
