I use my Fold 6 for navigation in my car. When the sun is shining at me, the screen dims because it casts a shadow in the front of the phone. My Fold 3 was able to measure light behind the phone. Why is this not the case with the Fold 6? Thanks.

Fold & Flip Phones@Oceanside442 I've had all the Folds since the 3 and I'm pretty sure that none of them sensed the light on the back to set the screen brightness.
Have you tried turning on/off adaptive brightness?

Try shining at light behind the Fold 3 when it's on auto brightness. Mine was reactive to it.
