Hello,

I was wondering if there are other scenarios of the flip7 getting overheating to the point that it reduces the screen brightness?

I have a ringke clear case with magsafe

Did not spend much time outside, just from entrance to car.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Overheating like this can happen when you have your phone outside in moderate to hot temperatures. One thing you can do is install Samsung's Good Guardians app from Galaxy Store and find the Thermal Guardians module. Inside Thermal Guardians, select "Additional settings". Among other options, you can disable "Decrease maximum brightness while heating".

Has anyone experienced their Z Flip 7 running hot/fast battery drain when using the camera? I just noticed it the past couple days. This was when I was taking photos...not even video. I'm still playing around with it to see if I can determine when this happens or if there are any apps running in the background contributing to this. I did turn off my phone for a few minutes the first time I noticed it. It got cooler, but heated up again when I started using my camera again.

Thank you for the link. However, it mostly discusses what to do when your phone is overheating. I'm hoping to find out the cause of overheating while using the camera in order to prevent it from overheating in the first place. I still haven't seen any apps that appear unusual. I did once use it while I was using YouTube for music and it got hot really fast. It cooled after I stopped YouTube and using my camera. Good to know not to use YouTube while taking photos, but that's disappointing since I play YouTube in the background when using my phone.

I'll continue to research amd hope for a software update that'll fix it.
