Flip 7 Lockstar AOD Brightness no longer working

Has anyone noticed that on the Flip 7 the Lockstar AOD brightness no longer works?

I disable auto brightness and set the brightness to full but doesn't change anything and when you go back into the AOD setting it has reset itself.
