Whenever I connect my flip6 with my cars bluetooth, it gets very hot after sometime. Does anyone else face this issue. Once it gets hot, I can't use map etc services. I need to cool it down before using it again

I would suggest downloading good guardians than download thermal guardians see why your phone is running so hot, as this isn't normal, also would suggest downloading galaxy app booster and clear the cache partition if you haven't already

I've had a z flip 4, 5, and 6, but i got rid of it for the S25 Ultra. The flips all have the same problem with overheating. I tried everything Samsung told me to do and it still would happen. I assume it's just because of its form factor that it doesn't have good heat dissipation.

Sorry man, Flips are delicate, they're going to overheat in any extended operation, be it BT USB Hot-Spotting, text2speech, etc.

You should turn on all the batter & CPU/GPU/XoC throttle cooling features asap, bc once you go too far you'll get swollen batteries, adhesive release, chip malfunction, complete failures - any one of these can cost $-$$$.

If you've had any past work done expect adhesive failures - covers popping off, camera lens covers falling off, perhaps worse, bc most repair ppl do not replace factory adhesive or they use non-Samsung glues. All these things are made soft(er) by heat..

All it takes is one high use... ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Hey vic0557, Welcome to the Community. We understand the concern with the phone getting hot connected to Bluetooth in the car.

Check out the solution thread posted for a Flip phone overheating: https://us.community.samsung.com/t5/Fold-Flip-Phones/My-Galaxy-Flip-5-seems-to-get-hot-and-then-rand...

It includes both, some troubleshooting steps, and service information.

Do you have it on a cradle or magnetic holder in direct sunlight? If the sunlight coming through the windshield is hitting the phone directly, it's going to get hot. I suggest either using a cradle that connects lower down like on the air vent, or just situate your phone in the cup holder or put it on the console shelf if you have one.  If your car has an Android Auto connection, use that and keep the phone off the dash.
