Hey all, I am on a Fold 7 with One UI 8 with the newest update (F966WVLU4AYI1) and I can no longer access my file system from within Secure Folder only if it needs to be accessed via the Files app with the blue icon. Normal access works with the Samsung Files app and third party explorers like MiX but if I need to change a save path from within an app and it needs me to do this through blue-icon-Files then I get this screen and nothing can be done. Is this an intended behaviour for the new update or is this a bug? I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Secure Folder and it does not fix the issue and the issue persists after a factory reset. This also was not the behaviour a couple weeks ago (before the update) when it worked as expected. Any advice?
S24 Ultra here on One UI8, the my files app works in my secure folder as it did previously. Have you tried clearing my files cache? Have you cleared your system cache since you updated? If not, I would suggest going to the main page Community page of the members app, and then click on Best Practices After An Update, and perform all those suggestions.
It fails to load from a fresh factory reset, there should not be anything to clear. I have reset my device and immediately installed Secure Folder and it still fails to load anything.
And the issue isn't with the Samsung My Files app, that one works as expected if opened from the App Drawer/Secure Folder folder. The problem only occurs in a specific circumstance where an app (Relay for Reddit for example) needs to choose a save location and asks you to select one through the built in Files app (which has a blue icon, as opposed to the Samsung My Files app with a yellow icon). I can interact with the sort menu but no folder structure is loaded.
I have the same issue. I use an app called Total Commander, and when I am trying to open the MyFiles app, it simply crashes. I am not sure since when this issue started happening, but it wasn't there before One UI 8. I am using S24 Ultra.
