I have a Fold5, and yesterday I opened it to find I had no contacts. I have contacts synced on the phone. I've seen this issue in other posts on this forum, so following advice I found there, I exported the contacts from contacts.google.com, emailed the file to myself and uploaded it on the phone. One contact was missing, so I added it manually, but it's not showing in Contacts despite that.
If I go to an old phone call for that contact and tap the name, I can see the full contact information, so it's somewhere on the phone, but I can't understand why it's not showing in the contacts list. Just the regular sync should have brought it up, but failing that, my manual addition should have brought it up, but neither has it showing.
Somewhat more disturbing, now when I go to contacts.google.com, it says I have no contacts. I'm utterly confused, so any advice you might have about this would be gratefully received. Thanks!!
First, power off the device. Second, hold down the side and volume down buttons. Next, hold down the side and volume up buttons quickly. Finally, hold down the side and volume up buttons until the Samsung logo appears.
