My Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 automatically initiates an "ongoing call" when connected to a Bluetooth device or shows an incoming call from one specific contact when connects to my car's Bluetooth or Galaxy watch Ultra. I tried factory reset on both devices, disconnecting and re-pairing them, latest software updates and nothing seems to fix it. This all started ever since I switched to Z fold 7! Any suggestions is appreciated.

Whenever I use Bluetooth or Android Auto, everything works fineโ€”apps like Spotify connect without any issues. However, phone calls specifically won't connect to my earbuds or through Android Auto. I'm not sure what's causing the problem but it's frustrating me. It's too early to have these issues with this brand new expensive phone.

My Samsung Z Fold 7, Galaxy Watch 7, Galaxy Buds 2 and Android Auto Connectivity Issue

I'm experiencing a persistent audio problem with my new Samsung Z Fold 7 device, affecting both my Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Buds 2. While these devices connect to the phone, I encounter a complete lack of audio when answering calls. Specifically, I cannot hear the caller, and they cannot hear me.

This issue extends to Android Auto as well. When a call comes in, I'm unable to answer it using the steering wheel controls in my car. I can only answer by directly tapping the screen. Similar to the watch and earbuds, there's no incoming or outgoing audio during calls through Android Auto.

It's important to note that this problem is isolated to call audio. All other sound functions, such as music, games, videos, navigation, and system sounds, work perfectly fine on all devices.

Another issue: when call comes in, the answer button on the call screen shows a Bluetooth device. When I answer this way, the call seems to be connected to the Bluetooth device, but the audio comes from the phone's earpiece. Also, the screen doesn't dim, and my face touches the buttons on the screen.

My problem is solved. I did a factory reset on my phone and didn't restore from any backup. During the initial setup, I had only restored the Wi-Fi and Bluetooth settings using Samsung Smart Switch. I think the issue was caused by the old settings. Everything is working as it should now.

My Z fold 7 is connected to both my car's internal bluetooth system and a MMI display. When playing Youtube music on my Z fold 7, it shows that it sending the sound to my car's BT channel, but now sound appear. If a telephone call is present the sound goes to BT, as it should. MMI screen shows Android Auto as it should.

My previos iPhone managed both, could it be some issue with S7 sending to two chanels?

My z-fold 7 will not allow me to connect to Bluetooth phone calls on my 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, but it will let me listen to text messages, Spotify. It says it's connected under Bluetooth but I I have to talk on the z-fold 7 instead of it going through my Bluetooth in my Jeep. Anyone else had these issues? First Samsung phone that I've had this issue with.

Same with my 2022 Grand Cherokee - call audio doesn't transfer in uconnect or Android auto so it must be an android issue with Bluetooth driver

Calls aren't send to my car (Tesla model Y) all other audio works fine. Just phone Control and audio not working.

I am having the same issues, no call audio on bugs, or any of my cars; tried full reset of settings still not working; how did samsung release a phone with such basic function not working. also don't see any official release from Samsung addressing this issue.
