Unable to add passes to wallet

At some point in OneUI 7 I lost the ability to add passes to my wallet app using the screenshot feature and in the gallery app. I am finding the same problem here in one UI 8. Anyone else have a similar issue? I have Google wallet set as my default payment app. It used to work perfectly in One UI 6. The app just force closes. I took a screen recording but unable to attach it.
