Ui 8.5 how do I uninstall it?

Does anyone know how to uninstall the ui 8.5? My battery has been draining so fast I need to charge my phone 3 to 4x a day...

You will need to un-enroll from the beta program. Then, connect your device to a PC. Download and run Samsung Smart Switch. You will have to do a clean install of 8.0 using Smart Switch. Be sure to back up data prior to this to prevent data loss.

Go to the Discover tab in this app. Scroll down to the beta program. You should be able to access the beta forum from there.

I'm either stupid or blind because I can't find what you're talking about.. I tried to get out of the beta program but it says try again later then I remembered I did leave it a few weeks ago so I tried to join again at least so I can get updates but again it says try again later 🤦

No worries! This can be confusing to navigate if you're new. If you have already withdrawn, you can't rejoin unless enrollment is open... to my knowledge, it isn't open right now.

All that's left to do in that case is back up your data and downgrade using Smart Switch on a PC.

Yes! Here is the official guidance from Samsung.

You can use Smart Switch to back up your device before downgrading and restore it after the fact. The computer program will detect that your phone is using beta software and automatically give you the option to downgrade.
