UI 7 removed the search button in the recent menu

I joined the beta as I tend to do. I noticed one thing missing I used all the time. When you go into recent apps you had a search icon on the top right of screen. This is much faster then going home then going to the app section to then search. Hoping someone found how to enable this again or the devs see this post.
