Frost blur shows for a split second after restart on regular transparent widgets like search bars. It seems like it's already somewhere in the system and it just hasn't been fully implemented yet. It already shows up when you scroll through stacked widgets.
Im really hoping we get to see it more places like on lockscreen notifications in beta 3.
