Screen Off, and you get a Notification

Am I losing my mind or when a notification comes in and the screen is off would it not turn the screen on for a sec or two showing the notification. Or the edge light. Been a while since I've seen my phone do that and can't for the love of me remember if it did since I got my S24 Ultra

Do you have brief notifications on? Do you have it set to show when screen is off?

Edge lighting/pop-up does not work with detailed notifications, unfortunately.

Thissss.. I had detailed pop notifications, which seems to not have all the options brief has. It's shown even when the screen is off and edge lighting. Interesting, thank you for the assist
