I get this saying it's updating then it stops and starts and when I go into the Samsung store and try to update it doesn't update and it randomly comes up and does it on and off without me trying to update it and I can't find it when I go to my apps and search for it. Also it's not on auto update. None of my apps are. I don't know why it keeps trying to download something I don't want it to. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your experience. It sounds like there may be an issue with the update process for one of your apps. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this:

1. Check for Pending Updates

Open the Galaxy Store or Google Play Store and go to the Updates section.

Look for any apps with pending updates and either complete or cancel them manually.

2. Clear Cache and Data for Galaxy Store

Go to Settings > Apps and find Galaxy Store.

Tap Storage, then select Clear Cache and Clear Data.

Restart the device and try accessing the store again.

3. Disable Background Updates

If an app is persistently trying to update, it may be a system app. To prevent this:

Go to Settings > Apps and tap the three-dot menu.

Select Show System Apps, find the app, and turn off auto-updates (if applicable).

4. Identify the App

If youā€™re unsure which app is causing the issue:

Open Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery Usage to check for apps running in the background.

Alternatively, monitor notifications when the update attempts occur.

5. Reinstall the App (if identified)

If you determine which app is causing the issue, uninstall it (if possible) and reinstall it from the Galaxy Store or Play Store.

6. Report the Issue

If none of the above steps resolve the problem, we recommend reporting it through the Samsung Members app. This will help the support team investigate further.

We hope these suggestions help! Let us know if you need additional assistance.

Best regards,

I would suggest downloading it on wifi as it's such a big file, and if that's not working, clear the cache and force stop and clear the cache of the galaxy store and try again

Thank you for the suggestion. I finally got it to work. We abtually live too far out in the country in a rural area to get Wi-Fi. It's not available where we live from any company yet
