Samsung gallery app takes forever to save videos when trimming them

Has anyone else noticed how it takes ages to save a video after you trim it through the Samsung gallery app? When I do it through the google photos apps it takes less than a second to save, but through the Samsung gallery app it takes 10+ seconds.

it's worse when u need to watch something u uploaded, it tries to load it on full resolution and NEVER stops loading....
