I sincerely hope not I've said a thousand times I love Samsung Messages and will use it until I can't because I absolutely hate Google Messages along with many other Google Apps if I wanted to use them I would buy a Google device and not Samsung

They aren't getting rid of the app. They are simply stopping the RCS support for it, as it's too much to maintain, dealing with carriers.
