Unless every single AI feature the S25U has is available in Beta 4 on my S24U, I'll be buying a different device and not looking back.

Yeah I'd like to go back to creating my own Rom/o.s. but Samsung makes it near impossible to unlock bootloader on U and U1 devices. Id rather maintain my own device that I paid over 1k for. šŸ™„

You can root, but there's a actual fuse that blows and permanently disables Knox. With a ugly boot text proclaiming this.

No, you can not.
Models U and U1 are USA models and can not be rooted due to NOT being able to unlock the bootloader. There used to be a way with an unlock token and the D.I.D. number but thats also no longer a solution.

It's going to be hard to tell us S24 Ultra users that our year-old phone can't handle the new firmware after promising - in writing - that the phone is guaranteed 7 years of updates. You can't wiggle out of this one, Samsung.
