You can either have the control and notifications together or separately. The control panel being customizable has been something I have been asking for, forever. I want Wifi and Bluetooth on the bottom, buttons on the bottom. The stuff I don't use is on top. Easier to reach. I use together.

Vertical scrolling with a quick alphabet handle. This is another thing I and many others have been asking for. If you don't like it, change it to pages. I like my phone bottom up, not top down. It's a big phone, I want everything to be reached one handed.

Camera controls easily reachable is a good thing!
