Quick Pannel Problems

Ever Since I entered the beta, over time I noticed how my Quick Pannel has been buggy. Both the "together" and "seperate" pannel settings. What I mean is while swiping down for let's say notifications, when in landscape the animation glitches or stutters. There's a initial delay at first, its basically like a lag or lag spike. That's my main issue, its always in landscape mode when this happens, almost everytime whenever I swipe down that animation problem occurs but it is only at first, if I swipe right after again its perfectly fine, its only when I go off of landcape for a while and go back to it is when it occurs again. Normally the quick pannel is smooth and fluid, with some minor exceptions here and there, till the moment my phone is on landscape. I do have a video showing what I mean but sadly I cant upload it here. Overall though for me the quick pannel hasn't been consistent in its smoothness and fluidity and I know it may just be for the reason its still beta software. Hopefully though when the official UI 7 is released this gets fixed.

Also there's this other thing, still on the topic of the quick pannel, but on the lock screen.

When I slowly swipe down the icons should fade in as I swipe like it does on the home screen. But on the lock screen they just pop up, no fade in. Only noticed this on the "together" pannel settings

I see what you mean. I just tested it out and it happened to me too. It only happens when I've been in portrait for a while and then switch to landscape to try to test it out and the first time I try to pull down the notification bar, it stutters.

Same here, it's definitely a graphics glitch of somesort. Its almost like the device needs to reload the animation and that takes a few milli seconds to reload after its been in portrait, u turn the phone to landscape it takes memory to change the screen orientation and then its almost like it doesnt have enough memory to load the animation at the same time. I think that is it. Or at least that is what I got trying to recreate it for a few minutes. If you go back and fourth it's not an issue. It's only after its been in portrait mode for a few minutes then it does it. I'll recreate it and then rite after that I will do the report and system log. Thanks for pointing this out to all. šŸ‘šŸ»šŸ‘ŠšŸ»

If you are in the USA you should get the stable version on the 10th and hopefully everything will be fixed. If it's not the next phone I get will be a pixel. They have the same size as S24 ultra which is the model I have. Nothing about Samsung beta impressed me and I lost all my trust in the company. They are now talking about they don't know when the slim is coming out. No concrete answers from them ever about anything. I said quite a bit to a mod in another forum so anyone thinking about saying anything negative don't waste your time. I don't care. I already told a representative from Samsung quite a bit because I stand up for what I believe in and what I believe is right. A few people are negative and like to say unnecessary things. If you want to waste your time you won't get a response. If I told a forum mod off why would I care about a nobody in here saying something negative? Talk your talk if you want to. You didn't tell any mods the truth about everything when they keep giving the same generic answers from the beginning. They lied to us from December on. So I hope the stable version fixes all the problems people are having but I have my doubts.

Hello,

Thank you for your detailed feedback and for taking the time to describe the issue thoroughly.

We’ve noted your report regarding animation stutter and initial lag in the Quick Panel while in landscape mode, especially after switching between portrait and landscape. Your observation about the lock screen Quick Panel not fading in smoothly under the ā€œTogetherā€ setting is also appreciated.

Since these are likely UI animation bugs, your insight is extremely valuable for our team. If possible, we kindly ask that you submit an error report via the Samsung Members app with system log data attached. If you still have the video available, attaching it through the error report would also help the developers investigate more efficiently.

Thanks again for your participation in the Beta program — feedback like yours helps us continuously improve the experience.

Regards,
One UI Beta Team
