Does anyone know where Quick Commands are? They used to be in the Bixby app and you would click the three dots, if I'm remembering correctly.

This is what I get when i try to open it, so I believe it is probably not available within the beta. 1733573579087.jpg

Just found out that Quick Commands are no more with the "improved" Bixby. We're now supposed to use Modes & Routines. Very limited as to custom actions, very convoluted and a number of steps backward to the beginning of Bixby. Or speak the entire command rather than a one word command that worked with Quick Commands. Seriously? Why do companies refuse to leave well enough alone? Going to try Google's Assistant <sigh>

I just rolled back the Bixby Update that pooched Bixby and all my Quick Commands are back!

  1. Open the Settings app on your Android device.
  2. Scroll down and tap on the Apps.
  3. Pick the app you want to roll back to an older version on the list of apps.
  4. On the App info page, tap on the three dots shown in the screenshot below.
  5. Select Uninstall updates.

Ugh. I used Quick Commands in my routines. One is when I stop driving to remember my parking space. One is to call my clock-in number for my job then a touch macro to automatically clock me in. I can still use the Ask Bixby action, but having it as a Quick Command made it easier to insert those into future routines. Also, Quick Commands let you skip Bixby telling you what you asked it. "You want me to remember your parking space. Should I save your parking space?" Superfluously annoying.
