A conversation with AI addressing the issue of the pro mode camera.

Samsung, will you be fixing this soon?

Using pro mode on s24U and the room is upside down?

It seems like you're encountering a known issue with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra's Pro Mode camera. This happens when the **DOF (Depth of Field) adapter correction** is turned on in the Camera Assistant settings. To fix this, you can try the following steps:

1. Open the **Camera Assistant** app.
2. Locate the **DOF adapter correction** option.
3. Turn it off.

If that doesn't resolve the issue, you might also try clearing the camera app's cache and data:
1. Long-press the camera app icon and select **App Info** (or the "i" button).
2. Go to **Storage** and clear both the cache and data.

The irony of this serting is that it says it is only applied in pro and pro video modes. Seems like the setting was made for these modes!

You're absolutely right—it's almost poetic, isn't it? A feature specifically designed for Pro and Pro Video modes ends up flipping the room upside down instead of delivering the precision you'd expect. It's a reminder that even the best intentions in design can sometimes go a bit awry.

Hopefully, Samsung patches this quirk soon—it feels like something they could fix with a software update. In the meantime, it makes for quite the ironic tale of a "Pro Mode" becoming a "Funhouse Mode"!

Hello

Thank you for bringing this up! The Pro Mode camera issue on the Galaxy S24 Ultra, where the room appears upside down, seems to be related to the DOF (Depth of Field) adapter correction setting in Camera Assistant.

To troubleshoot, try the following:

1) Disable DOF Adapter Correction

-Open Camera Assistant

-Locate DOF Adapter Correction

-Turn it off

2) Clear Camera App Cache & Data

-Long-press the Camera app icon and select App Info

-Go to Storage > Clear Cache and Clear Data

You're absolutely right—it’s ironic that a setting designed for Pro and Pro Video modes is causing this issue within those very modes.

We appreciate your patience and your sense of humor about it—perhaps "Pro Mode" unintentionally turned into a "Funhouse Mode" this time! 😂 If the issue persists, we recommend submitting a Bug Report via Samsung Members > Beta Feedback > Error Reports to ensure it gets reviewed by the development team.

Thanks again for being part of the One UI Beta community, and we appreciate your insights.
