Yeah it is a big update, been running it on my Samsung S22 SM-S901U 256GB & it was very similar in size... but yeah I haven't had any issues personally but every time I installed or upgrade to a beta, even a regular software update I always clear cache in recovery mode to make sure I am starting 100% fresh updated and without issues from past software. Enjoy & definitely chime in and send your input on what you think to them so we can try to get what we'd like put into future versions

Nope, it is the Beta, the build ends with VHK, which is the second beta build.

It's probably a full ROM and not just an update that you usually get hence the large size.
