One Ui 8 Battery Drain

Has anyone here experienced serious battery drains after installation of one UI 8? My battery life has been significantly reduced due to this beta version. Plus higher ram usage and warmer phone temperatures than One UI 7?

Yes, I have noticed slight improvement now that I've used since the beta opened.

Clear the cache partition.

I just copied this bc I'm too lazy right now to type it out. Also, it's always a good idea to perform on monthly updates (and with upcoming beta versions too).


Here's how to do it:

Power off your device: If it's already off, proceed to the next step.

Enter Recovery Mode: Press and hold the Volume Up and Side (Power) buttons simultaneously.

Release buttons: When the device turns on and the Android logo appears, release the Side (Power) button, but keep holding the Volume Up button until you enter Recovery Mode.

Navigate to "Wipe cache partition": Use the Volume Down button to navigate through the menu options and select "Wipe cache partition".

Confirm the action: Press the Side (Power) button to confirm your selection.

Choose "Yes": Use the Volume Down button to highlight "Yes" and then press the Side (Power) button to confirm wiping the cache partition. Then it will highlight "Reboot system now" and click yes.

Note: Wiping the cache partition will not erase your personal data, only temporary system files. If you're experiencing performance issues, this is a good first step to try.
