The notification swipes should be split 50 at the camera. The elft side should swipebthe notification panel and the right side of the camera cutout should swipe down the quick settings. The small area for quick settings is inconvenient.

Same issue with me. It is only convenient if you are not at home or on the lock screen.

Get Goodlock and Quick Star module to adjust the area of swipe for each.
Mine is set to 50/50 but you can make it whatever you want.
