No watch Beta 8 for Watch 7 Ultra

I completed both downloads and installed both but the software version still displays UI 6. I have the LTE Unlocked Watch 7 Ultra but no data plan because I provider (Spectrum) doesn't offer a data plan for Android watches. 

Please advise!

Samsung decided to show their appreciation for customers who bought the ultra directly from them by baiting and switching us by letting us enroll and decided to gatekeep the beta unless you set up a watch plan.

Did you not read the notice on the beta sign up? The first sentence stated that it was for T-Mobile.

It's not for unlocked

You need to have a T-Mobile watch data plan attached to and running to in order for the download to happen correctly. Also bought my ultra from Samsung directly as well. If you have any other carrier other than T-Mobile you can't get in on the beta testing

Samsung should at least be forthcoming and let people know before they join the Beta program that unlocked phones won't update.

They did write it on the beta sign up. They can't force you to read it, but the information was presented and not hidden in a wall of text.
