Is pinning the task bar and long pressing the Taskbar to hide it no longer an option? All I'm seeing is auto hide and stay on screen. Auto hide is great but if you use Swipe Gestures in your navigation bar there is always a conflict with the task bar also if it's set to auto hide.

Isn't Stay on Screen the same as pinning?

But your question was can you pin the taskbar... the Stay on Screen is the answer. Seems like with the introduction of the new taskbar they remove the long press to hide/unhide.
I think Samsung went about this whole implementation half way... do away with the old taskbar and let us have the new one.

What type of conflict are you having? I'm not experiencing that problem.
