Any news on the next beta 5 drop? Beta 4 has been really good on my end after the hot fix for the frame drops and graphics lags.

Agree. What else could it be at this point? Oh wait... Fine-tuning! šŸ˜‚

And what about the missing features like Audio Eraser and Now Briefing? Talk about gatekeeping, Samsung.
Honestly, I've considered just grabbing the 25U out of sheer frustration. Itā€™s still out there with all the pre-order discounts and trade-in offers. I could score a 1TB for $467 plus some serious discounts on accessories.

The fact that these pre-order deals are still hanging around months later says a lot about the 25 seriesā€™ weak sales, doesnā€™t it?

But out of principle, I just canā€™t bring myself to buy the 25U. I genuinely like my 24U and wish Samsung would stop playing these games. A flagship that's just a year old should easily handle all the updatesā€”and in a way more timely fashion, too. Spare me the excuses about architecture and hardware differences. Not buying it.

Apparently, One UI7 is very inconsistent across devices.

Who of us would have thought that we'd still be on the beta four months in with no end in sight? Heck, Samsung should give us the option of taking the signed Android 15 or staying in the beta and going right into One UI 8 Android 16!

Hello,

Weā€™re glad to hear that Beta 4 has been running well for you, especially after the hot fix for frame drops and graphics lag.

At this time, thereā€™s no official release date for Beta 5, but the team is continuing to fine-tune One UI 7 to ensure that it meets stability and performance expectations. As soon as there are confirmed updates, they will be communicated through official Samsung channels.

While the idea of allowing Beta testers to opt into a direct transition to One UI 8 (Android 16) is interesting, the goal of the Beta program is to refine each version of One UI thoroughly before moving forward. Samsung remains committed to providing long-term updates, but ensuring a polished and complete One UI 7 experience is the current priority.

We appreciate your patience and your continued enthusiasm for the Beta program! Let us know if you experience any other improvements or issues with Beta 4ā€”we value your feedback.

Regards,
One UI Beta Team
