Messages not being received until Google Messages is open

Has anyone else noticed this? It only happens with my group chats with iPhone users. As soon as Google Messages is opened the messages will flood in.

It doesn't happen with 1 on 1 messages though.

I don't have this problem. I have 2 mixed groups, and it's working fine.

Perhaps either you're Google messages is set to not run in the background, or a power save setting you have isn't letting it display anything ok you actively open it.

I dont have the problem , i avoid people with iphone. No seriously , nothing so far

You have to have some sort of battery saving feature.. Or notifications settings.. I'm on a lot of group chats.. All of them have RCS and iOS users. No issues.
