I've done multiple betas for different software and never had anything like this happen. I'm only listing it here incase someone else runs into this.
This morning I was using samsung messages like normal and my phone rebooted mid message. I thought that's odd, but figured it was a one off. It booted up to the lock screen... I waited a bit for the background to boot up. BOOM rebooted again...and again....and again... phone getting pretty **bleep**g hot at this point.
The fix:
After rebooting for the 12th time (exaggeration) I quickly navigated to the power option and hit SHUT DOWN. I then left it alone for it to get cool again. Started it up, and then Bob's your uncle its been working fine ever since.
I hope this helps anyone else that may have the issue, moreso, I hope it's just me :')
Wow! That sounds scary/frustrating. Glad you were able to find a fix. The only time that happened to me, I had to get a new phone. It was an LG G4. But the new phone I chose was a Galaxy S7 and I've been using the Galaxy S series ever since ๐

Important: Please submit the report within 3 minutes of reproducing the issue for accurate log data collection.
