Many should do what I did, The one UI 7 beta 4 drained the battery a lot and charged slowly, and there were times when I charged the galaxy s24 ultra twice a day, so what I did was, go back to the old version one UI 6.1

I have WiFi and Bluetooth Scanning turned off in location services. NFC is off until needed and managed via a Bixby Routine. If Samsung Pay or Google Wallet are opened then NFC turns on. The apps close and NFC turns off.
NFC is not a big battery drain but is best to leave off until needed for security purposes.

WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS are on all the time. GPS is on but my apps are set to use only when app is active, not all the time.

No Wi-Fi and Bluetooth scanning in the background. Which again are also good for security. When you are out and about it is not good to have WiFi scanning unsecured networks. With the background scanning turned on the phone can be scanning in the background even if you turned off WiFi and Bluetooth!

Can you please be more specific about your settings for the battery savings?

Ive removed bixby completely from the phone, dont like it and if im not going to use it, I remove it. I dont ise samsung or google pay so ive also removed it. Basically ive minimized what runs in the background till needed and have removed some bloatware i dont use or need. Some apps i have in deeps sleep like Spotify, tiktok ect... As they dont need to be running in the background if im not using them. You can put apps in deep sleep in settings and you can remove apps and bloatware you dont want with ADB. I also dont fast charge, i slow charge as it allows battery to last longer and stay charged longer. As for the scanning , turn them off and also set in developer options wifi scan throttle to on. My wifi, Bluetooth and location is always on for my galaxy watch. 🖖🏻

Hello,

We understand that battery performance is a critical factor, and while Beta testing allows users to experience upcoming features early, it can sometimes come with trade-offs, like higher battery consumption or slower charging due to ongoing optimizations.

Rolling back to One UI 6.1 is certainly an option for those who prioritize stability over testing, and we appreciate you sharing your experience. For those who choose to stay on the Beta, we continue to encourage users to report battery-related issues via Samsung Members > Beta Feedback > Error Reports, as this helps improve the final release.

Either way, we appreciate your participation in the One UI Beta program and your willingness to share insights with the community 😃

Regards,
One UI Beta Team
