Home screen shortcuts disappear

My app shortcuts on home screen keeps being removed. 

I have shortcuts for my web browser pages, and my Smart home devices. 

Every couple of days they're gone. 

Seems to happen after altering an (unrelated) app's permission settings, or administrative settings. 

Has anyone else noticed this?

Thank you for your feedback on Home screen shortcuts disappearing issue. 

In general, One UI 7 system tries to optimize your background activity by closing the background apps/in-active shortcuts if they haven't been used for some time. 

However, please feel free to submit an error report anytime 🙂

Same thing is happening to my shortcuts. I had quite a few browsers shortcuts on my home screen. They just seem to vanish! This is crazy annoying. Can't we turn off our downscale the level of optimization???

Having the same issue but with OneNote shortcuts. They just vanish, but when I go to re-add them it says they are already there. The space where they were is empty though, as I can move other shortcuts to that place or use it to "double tap to lock". Another annoyance, I have a couple of OneNote pages that are secured with passwords. On my S23 and my Tab S7 I can unlock these with fingerprint after first setting it up, but on the S25, when I try to set it up it doesn't seem to save the option and just keeps presenting the password box with the "Unlock with fingerprint next time" slider turned on. Any help would be great. Thanks
