Google Sports and Now Bar 🏈

There have been several posts about this feature. I have sports turned on in the Now Bar settings and also turned on the settings in the Google app. I also selected the teams in Google settings that I want to follow. Notifications are turned on for each team. 

What am I missing to get this to work as intended?

Google sends out the notification about 3 hours before the games and updates regularly.

The live sports feature in the Now Bar is dependent on both Google app integration and notification sync timing, so it's possible the delay was temporary or linked to server-side syncing.
