Suddenly today, Google Pay and Google Wallet stopped working for me on my S24+ running the One UI 7 beta. However prior to today, it was working just fine. But I just tried to pay at Target and got an error saying that due to device security requirements, I can't use tap to pay. I also can't use Google Pay on things like Doordash or other apps that use it. The weird thing is though, Samsung Wallet works just fine. I was able to pull out my phone, tap, and pay just as expected on Samsung Wallet. However Google Wallet/Pay doesn't function all of a sudden. I didn't change any settings recently I believe, so does anyone know what could be going on?
Because a beta OS is not the final, signed firmware, many payment and banking apps will not work. If you got it to work at all, that's great. It's been hit or miss for me... which is why I typically use Google Wallet on my watch while beta testing.
