DiscussionsThat's false. It used to be done in the status bar section in notification settings. They removed it which is a huge mistake as many users don't like to see the battery percentage at all times.

Discussions@Hx12 Ok, my bad. QuickStar must be used to completely remove battery information from the Status bar.
In UI 8 Notification settings, you can disable the percentage but the pill remains.
In UI 8.5 Notification settings, you can disable the pill but the percentage remains.
