Now we all agree that Beta 1 for One UI 7 was pretty good. There were plenty of welcome changes, but we also suggested some changes to the UI, overall, for more unified elements. Like the addition of frosted glass blur on the lock screen and the Now bar, among many other suggestions. But I know I am not crazy because I don't see any of the big suggestions everyone has been recommending implemented in this beta. I see the bug fixes, but no UI design changes. I hope we get a response from the moderators that those changes are coming in Beta 3.

Hello,

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and suggestions on the Beta program. We truly appreciate the detailed feedback you and others have provided throughout this process. While Beta 1 introduced several welcome changes and bug fixes, we understand that many users were hoping for more visible UI updates in Beta 2. Your feedback about design elements like frosted glass blur on the lock screen and Now bar has been noted, and we’ve forwarded it to the development team. That said, major design changes often take time to implement, and it's possible that some features may appear in future beta releases or even in the final version. We’ll keep you updated as soon as there’s more clarity on this.

It's true that the primary focus of beta programs is to identify and address bugs to ensure a smoother final release. However, user feedback on features and design changes is still a vital part of the process. While not every suggestion can be implemented, the insights shared by the community are instrumental in shaping the direction of future updates. We’ll also take your feedback about setting clearer expectations to improve communication in future beta programs.

Regards,

One UI Beta Team
