After installing the beta 5 hot fix on my S24 Ultra over night, I woke up to a 100% battery. Not that it's a huge deal, I just have battery protection set to maximum, limiting charge to 80%.

So that means in the midst of installing the update, it disabled the battery protection, and set it back to basic. So I suggest anyone that has installed the update and limit charge to 80%, I would suggest going to your settings and double checking the option hasn't changed. I might be a small bug that I or a small percentage of people experienced but, it's worth noting.

If you mistakenly type an i in the word instead of a u it would have flagged it as profanity.

I installed it yesterday morning and after you mentioning this I checked and my battery protection was turned off. I know I had it set to basic but it should have been on since I don't recall turning it off at any point recently. Makes me wonder what other settings have been messed with.

This is beta software. The fine print, which you all agreed to, states in plain English that the software may perform unexpectedly at times.

And I'm not complaining about it. I'm informing people of things that are going on with the beta. Get off your high horse.

I noticed it turned on adaptive battery too. I disable that and had to turn it off again. I also had to turn back on battery protection like others noted here.
