I know this has probably been asked but for some reason my search isn't working properly - which might be another problem in itself.

Since I started using the beta the drain on my battery has been horrible.

I have a S25 on IU beta 8.3. I've had this phone less than a month. I understand that the battery isn't a standard size to begin with but it wasn't like this before the betas.

I just charged it to 95 about a hour ago and with just a few texts back and forth to a friend it's already at 85.

I've already enabled all the battery saving/power options. And the battery protection options.

It's this just gonna be a thing or is there anything else I can do to help it?

So it's been a day and a half, how's the battery treating you?

I'm sorry I took a long time to get back to u. I'm not getting the notifications for the beta program.

It's been a little better but not great. I'm still having to charge it in the middle of the day making it 1 x before bed and one time around 2 or so.

You have adapted battery and put unused apps to sleep as fishin4bass suggested?1752072183936.jpg1752072222869.jpg

I would also suggest, now I do this anytime I download a new app. What you will want to do, is put the apps that you don't actively use on a daily basis into what they call a "Deep Sleep". When your apps are in a deep sleep, they will not run in the background, they will only run when you manually open the app. I used to be a cellphone repair technician and a supervisor for the company I did repairs for. I would suggest to my customers when they have a high amount of battery drain, to put their apps into a deep sleep(this is if they aren't having issues with their battery and if their battery is in good health). How you do this, and because I am lazy sometimes, you will want to swipe up from your homescreen, the app drawer. There will be a search bar at the bottom. Search for "Deep Sleeping Apps". It should come right up. When you click on it, navigate to the deep sleeping apps menu. When you are in the deep sleeping apps menu, you will want to tap on the "+" icon. Select all the apps you want to put into a deep sleep. When you confirm, you will see the list that appears show newly added apps.

A lot of apps use background activity, which tends to drain your battery. With putting your apps into a deep sleep it will help limit the strain on battery.

Hope this helps!
